A new slate-hung sustainable house in the Wye Valley. Principal rooms, with south-facing picture windows, are connected to a run of service rooms built into the bank behind. In between is a north-lit picture gallery. Downstairs rooms are lined with shelves and frames to display the clients' collections of art and books. First floor bedrooms form an attic storey behind low eaves, with openings focused on earth and sky.
